| VINEYARD: | Made exclusively from the grapes of Finca La Maricana, a 1.04-hectare vineyard where Tempranillo is the predominant variety, accompanied by Garnacha and Albillo Mayor. The vineyard is located in Haza, the finest area of the Burgos region in Ribera del Duero |
| HAVERST: | Hand-harvested in 15 kg crates, with cluster selection at the winery |
| WINEMAKING: | Four days of cold pre-fermentation maceration, with daily manual pump-overs during fermentation at a controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation takes place in new French oak barrels, where the wine remains for 12 months |
| SOIL: | The vineyard is situated on clay-limestone soils, whitish in color, highly basic, and nutrient-poor, with deep layers of limestone rock slabs («lastras»). |
| TASTING NOTES: | Deep cherry red color with high intensity, clean and bright. An intense, fruity, and complex nose, showcasing the characteristic aromas of its terroir. On the palate, it is broad and fresh, with elegant spicy and fruity notes. A true expression of one of the finest areas of the Burgos region in Ribera del Duero. Produced only in years when the fruit reaches exceptional quality. |
